Our Mission

Our mission at Autonomous Hippopotamus is to empower neurodivergent learners to understand themselves, build confidence and community, and develop strategies that honor how we naturally think and learn. By embracing who we are and understanding the world around us, we can thrive authentically in a world not made for us– choosing our own paths and redefining what success looks like.

We don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. Our work is shaped around the individual and how they think, learn, and engage. This allows our supports to be flexible, responsive, and grounded in real needs rather than cookie-cutter interventions and programs.
